I chose Berenice Abbot as my artist. I chose Berenice Abbot because i love her photographs and the views shes gets. I'm very interested in her work and photos. Id like to study on how she sets her camera to get the perfect shots she gets. I love that most of her pictures are taking in city's I like city views with all the tall buildings and that what i like most about Berenice Abbots photographs. I'm looking forward to trying to take photographs like Berenice Abbot does.
This is one of my favorite photographs by Berenice Abbot. This is my favorite photo because i like the light and darkness put into the photo. I also like the shadow from underneath the bridge. I think this is a pretty view and photograph. The motion is excellent.

Romania
In class we watch a movie called "Hand Held". This movie was about a photographer Mike Carroll who was the first photographer to go to Romania. When he was there everything was horrific Mike Carroll photographed the children in hospitals diagnosed with aids and put his photos in the Boston Globe and New York times for the world to see how these poor kids live and to have people help. While Mike Carroll was in Romania in the 20th century he fought the whole time he was there to help out the children. Mike Carroll was able to get people to adopt some children. While Mike Carroll had falling in love with all these children. He spent most of his time at the hospital with the kids. Later on when Mike Carroll went back to Romania years later he said everything was the same and allot has changed. As in there world is still the same but the people he photographed were no longer there.
After reading a couple of articles of how Romania is today, its doesn't seem as if it changed very much. But more people are visiting Romania and donating as they all did before to help give all the orphans a better life. In the articles i read; they said that no one knows why their has to be so many problems with the orphans. Its sad how Innocent baby's/children get treated this way. They don't deserve it. People are working to help make Romania better.
