Week 3: Artist #1 Edward Curtis

Edward Curtis

Edward Curtis was born February 16, 1868 in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Edward Curtis died October 19, 1952 in Los Angeles, California. In 1895 when Edward Curtis was seventeen he started off as a apprentice photographer. In 1887  Edward moved and bought his first camera, he then started working in a photographic studio. In 1995 he became a photographer. Most of the pictures that Edward photographs are North American Indians.

I like Edwards photographs because i think they are interesting photos. I like how Edward doesn't just get pictures of Indians. I like how Edward also get the Indians lifestyles in the photograph. Theres nothing i dont like about Edward Curtis photos.
